Jens Borgschulte appointed to the Management Board of Ed. Züblin AG

Jens Borgschulte joined the ZÜBLIN management board with commercial responsibility for the operating business in Germany, Benelux and Scandinavia effective 1 September 2020.

The Supervisory Board of Ed. Züblin AG has appointed Jens Borgschulte as a new member of the Management Board of the company with effect from 1 September 2020. Borgschulte (56) will be responsible for the commercial side of Züblin’s business operations in Germany, Benelux and Scandinavia together with current board member Ulrich Weinmann. As a result of this appointment, the management board of Ed. Züblin AG will now consist of eight persons: in addition to Borgschulte and Weinmann, these are Jörn Beckmann and Harald Supper (technical responsibility Germany/Benelux/Scandinavia), Dr. Ulrich Klotz (Zentrale Technik), Edgar Schömig (tunnelling), Dr. Alexander Tesche (central functions) and Jörg Wellmeyer (ZÜBLIN International).

Jens Borgschulte brings several decades of management experience in the national and international building construction and civil engineering business to the STRABAG Group. In 1992, after completing his studies in business administration, he joined the Bilfinger construction group. There he held various commercial management positions, including responsibility for the building construction business in northern Germany and, as CFO, for the group’s worldwide civil engineering business. His last position at Bilfinger was with a corporate entity specialising in technology.
