TORKRET, Mariendom pilgrimage church in Neviges

The roof of the Mary Queen of Peace pilgrimage church in Neviges, designed by the expansion caused cracking in the concrete structure, resulting in water leaking into the interior. RWTH Aachen University developed a novel restoration concept using carbon-reinforced shotcrete mortar to preserve the exposed concrete architecture, which TORKRET is now applying following successful testing.
